故事主要讲述了生意人达叔年轻时为能给妻儿一个安定的家，却买到了一所经人设计的房子，却不知这处房子是故意被人设计为阴宅，住入后达叔生意败落，不久达叔的妻子自杀，却阴魂不散，有道士告诉达叔，如果想要妻子继续活着，就必须通过在房间里杀掉生辰在三月初三的人，以保证住所有足够的阴气。达叔为了一家团聚就听信道士所言，多年来不断杀人，原来一切皆是道士设计的一个圈套。在达叔准备最后杀掉这四个年轻人收手之际，案件终于被警察破获。
