The initial announcement described the movie as “A documentary about branding, advertising and product placement is financed and made possible by branding, advertising and product placement.” Sounds like an interesting, if not gimmicky, concept.

Paris: A Wild Story relates the astonishing destinies of those living creatures that stroll through town in search of food, love and adventures while men sleep, travel and work in the city. This screening is organized in partnership with the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States.

　　Episode 5 - Blackbeard's Ship
　　Off the coast of North Carolina, nautical archaeologists, historians and scientists study the artifacts of a 300 year old shipwreck. Positively identified as Blackbeard’s flagship, our investigators set about to uncover what the ship’s remains can tell us about history’s most notorious pirate.
　　Episode 6 - Spear of Destiny
　　In a search that spans four countries and 20 centuries, we investigate the legend of the Spear of Destiny. First mentioned in the New Testament, the spear is said to have pierced the side of Jesus. Believed to have special powers, kings and conquerors from Charlemagne to Hitler tried to possess it.

　　这部好玩又惊险的纪录片中满是现实世界的神话、信仰和传说，也正是这些引燃了J·K·罗琳的想象力和创造力。J·K·罗琳在片中还来到大英图书馆《哈利波特：魔法的历史》展览，为我们展现魔法世界背后的真实故事，把现实生活和她脑海中的魔法世界做了对比。从怪异有趣的曼德拉草到伊丽莎白隐形术，从商代甲骨文上的神秘字符再到寻找现实中的魔法石，本片将带你开启神秘的魔法世界之旅。
　　《哈利波特》的演员们，大卫·休里斯、伊文娜·林奇、米瑞安·玛格莱斯和马克·威廉姆斯等将在片中献声朗读，而本书的插画师吉姆·凯伊也将在片中现身。

　　影片讲述两个20岁刚出头，跟中国有些渊源的年轻人重走长征路的故事。男孩名叫Benedict Short，他是中英混血，母亲是中国人，父亲是英国作家Philip Short, 曾写过《毛泽东传》。女孩名叫Margaux De Wilde，她的母亲是加拿大人，父亲是法国人。她读小学时，身为外交官的父母被派往北京，她的童年时光是在中国度过的。
　　两位主人公在北京同一所大学学习中文，他们在这里相识、相爱。在一堂“中国近代史”课上，两人第一次听到老师讲中国长征的历史；他们被那些当年参加红军长征的战士和历经磨难的红军故事所震撼。于是，他们决定骑着摩托车沿着当年红军长征的足迹，亲自去参观那些故事的发生地。然而，他们的决定在最开始，受到了男孩母亲的反对，但是最终还是被男孩说服了，于是在他们临行前，男孩母亲给两位主人公讲述了他们家庭和长征的故事，并给了一些当年的信物，于是两人出发了。
　　两人从长征的起点江西省瑞金出发，沿途经过湖南、广西、贵州、云南、四川等省。他们专程拜访当年参加过长征的老红军和在长征中牺牲的红军战士的后代，听他们讲过去的故事，在当年红军长征经过的地方，他们遇到更多的是跟自己同龄的年轻人，有艺术家、舞蹈家、手工匠人、运动员等。除了遇到这些可爱的人，他们还走过城市、山间、雪山、草地，无数次被中国壮美的山河美景吸引。他们被红军精神和现在人的美好生活所感染，看到了新中国是如何诞生，感受到新中国是如何成为世界第二大经济体的。
　　本片于第八届北京国际电影节纪录片单元获得“特别推荐奖”。

　　高雄是日治時期的軍事重地，也是二二八事件中遭受嚴重軍事鎮壓的地區。本片尋訪經歷過二戰的台籍日本兵、二二八事件雄中自衛隊成員，及二二八事件受難者遺族，他們走過被噤聲的年代，恐懼及創傷如影隨形，成為一生都無法卸下的歷史馱負，鏡頭緩緩隨著他們的日常身影流動，他們從日常中撿拾記憶，還原歷經歷史劫難的生命軌跡，從被迫參戰的無奈際遇，到失去親人又背負標籤、跌宕波折的成長處境，沒有悲憤控訴，只有娓娓傾吐，讓他們重新擁有屬於自己的個體傷痕記憶。
　　深植在他們身體裡的記憶，也留存在時間、空間的縫隙中，本片亦靜靜凝望散落高雄各地的軍事遺址，見證著工兵的血淚與青春；當倖存者逐漸凋零，就以訴說及凝視抵抗遺忘，記憶猶如在這塊土地上努力生長的野番茄，結出強韌的生命果實，展現堅毅不拔的姿態。

　　那是二十世纪的一个重要时刻——世界上第一颗用于袭击一个国家或地区的原子弹投向了日本的广岛，这是一次科学的、技术的、军事的以及政治上的冒险。
