　　On July 16, 1945, at a site called Trinity, a plutonium bomb was assembled and brought to the top of a tower. The bomb was detonated, producing an intense flash and a fireball that expanded to 600 meters in two seconds. The explosive power was equivalent to 18.6 kilotons of TNT. 　　导演帕特里克·古兹曼的每一部影片都和20世纪智利国家的回忆有关：从他在1975年戛纳影展平行竞赛单元放映的《智利之战》三部曲开始，一直到在2004年非竞赛单元放映的《萨尔瓦多·阿兰德》。《故乡之光》也延续了这一主题，影片面向未来（群星），同时不忘为了赢得独立的代价和那段充满鲜血的痛苦的过去。

　　《Red Army》是一部关于前苏联体育盛世时期红军冰球队的电影。以队长斯拉瓦·费季索夫的视角为观众讲述。故事描绘了他从国家英雄到民族政敌的巨大转变。从苏联到俄罗斯，电影探讨了体育运动如何真实的反映了社会和文化运动，红军冰球队的兴衰也映照了前苏联政权的变迁。
