西双版纳热带雨林是世界最北端的热带雨林，地处中国云南，为人类和众多美丽生灵提供了宝贵的生存空间和自然资源。这里也是为数不多的野生中华蜜蜂种群较为活跃的地区。以寻找珍稀的野生中华蜂为起点，绿色和平邀请了科普作家花落成蚀和星空摄影师叶梓颐，一同前往雨林深处，探索物种与物种间的奇妙关联，发现热带雨林生态系统和生物多样性的重要价值。该片由绿色和平与中国国际民间组织合作促进会的合作项目制作。
