《原始生活21天》将“适者生存”这句话提升到最新境界。每一周都有一对互不相识的男女身陷世界最极端的气候环境中。每一对双人组都会面对没有食物、没有衣服、没有水的孤立无援处境。他们必须自立求生21天，手中仅有一项个人物品，唯一可以凭靠的是他们的求生知识。这些英勇大胆的男女必须尽快熟悉彼此，探索周遭环境，他们先前学到的求生技巧和本能都将受到质疑和考验。
《後勁：王建民》由WYC影視（WYC Motions）拍攝，WYC影視、藝博思國際有限公司、牽猴子整合行銷股份有限公司共同出品。加拿大台裔導演陳惟揚花費四年多時間，和王建民一起飛過美國21座城市，紀錄包含王建民在德州棒球農場苦練的艱辛、熱血重返大聯盟在皇家隊的時期，貼身採訪王建民的太太、小孩、經紀人，以及和王建民共事過的教練、經理，更包含和王建民熟識的台灣球員如：郭泓志、鄭錡鴻等。讓觀眾感受從未見過王建民的另一面，感受王建民這一路付出的過程。而這一切也呼應片名《後勁 LATE LIFE》（LATE LIFE在棒球術語，指的是球在最後進到捕手手套時的尾勁，一個階段旅程的漂亮收尾）的意義。
