When wealthy landowner Gregory Lancaster’s body goes missing on the night of his death, a sinister web of secrets and lies is exposed in the village of Little Malton. DCI Barnaby, DS Nelson and new Forensic Pathologist Kam Karimore are drawn into a macabre world of body-snatching as they seek to identify the villain.

　　Seth Meyers和Mike O’Brien制作的喜剧《疯狂教授生物课 A.P. Bio》讲述一名前哲学系教授（Glenn Howerton饰）失去梦寐以求的工作后，只好去到高中接受一份教授大学预修生物学课程的工作，但明确表示不会教授任何生物学的他，决定利用这群优等生来报复在主角人生中冤枉他的人。

　　The first series, Ben, a dentist, and Susan, the worst cook in the world, are certainly loving, caring parents, they just have a problem showing it. Ben seems to be confused as to how much time and money his kids demand from him. Susan has to juggle motherhood, a career and a husband and does not have enough time to manage everything including improving her cooking skills. Nick is always working on his next hair-brained scheme to keep him amused. Janey, like any normal teenage daughter feels that her parents are seriously embarrassing whilst Michael keeps his head in his books to get away from the noise.

 故事改编自Araminta Hall的2021年小说，聚焦Nancy Hennessy的死，外人看来她的生活是完美的，漂亮、富有、深得相识的人的尊敬和喜爱。而她被谋杀后，留下两个最好的朋友、深爱她的丈夫和女儿，以及一个她至死都未说出身份的秘密恋人。随着对其死亡的调查陷入困难，两个好友Eleanor和Mary也深陷悲痛，黑暗的细节慢慢浮现，让她们发觉自己对好友、对彼此甚至对自己其实都知之甚少。
