讲述了被遗弃收养的赵艺佳和杨俊鹏之间的动人故事。赵艺佳患有先天心脏病，却在养母的精心呵护下长大成人。她临终前求姐姐顶替自己与杨俊鹏继续通信，不想因为自己的离世而耽误杨俊鹏的学业。直到杨俊鹏与赵艺佳的姐姐见面，才懂得了她的良苦用心。
