Apple订购半小时剧集《狄金森》(Dickinson，暂译)，该剧由海莉·斯坦菲尔德主演，她将在剧中扮演二十世纪现代主义诗歌先驱之一艾米莉·狄金森。阿莲娜·史密斯(《婚外情事》)编剧，大卫·戈登·格林执导。剧集将设定在艾米莉·狄金森生活的时代，故事围绕狄金森家庭，她自我创造诗歌的历程等展开。剧集也将见证狄金森个人的成长过程。

　　CBS警匪题材的新剧《Flashpoint》故事的主角是一只隶属加拿大最大的城市多伦多警察的特种部队，这只部队的名字叫做战略反应小队(Strategic Response Unit)，简称SRU。SRU的角色原型来自于多伦多的一只真的紧急任务反应小队(Emergency Task Force)。
　　SRU的成员都不是一般的警察，他们有能力做一些普通警察所不能做的事情，包括：“拯救人质，打击黑帮，拆除炸弹，操作尖端武器，”他们将永远冒着生命危险去拯救别人的生命。他们往往会采用任何手段在非常短的时间内解决问题拯救生命。
　　想成为一名SRU成员，你首先要有多年的在街头打击罪犯的经验，还要经受强烈的体能训练，以及射击枪法的训练。除此之外SRU成员还要有操作尖端武器的能力，包括：“狙击枪，蛇形摄像设备，机器人，闪光弹，夜视仪和泰瑟枪”。但是最重要的武器，还是每个人的直觉和经验，能够应付各种危机所需要的技巧。
　　《Flashpoint》最早是由加拿大电视台CTV先行制作，后由CBS看重加入联合制作。该剧的编剧也全部由加拿大编剧协会Writers Guild of Canada(WGC)成员完成，所以也并没有受到美国WGA编剧罢工的影响。《Flashpoint》也是第一部完全由加拿大本地制作并拍摄并在美国主要电视网播出的电视剧集。
　　该剧的主演是《美眉校探 Veronica Mars》里的侦探老爸Enrico Colantoni，饰演小队的头头Sergeant Greg Parker。其他演员还包括Hugh Dillon饰演Ed Lane，David Paetkau饰演Sam Braddock，Amy Jo Johnson(《Felicity》)饰演Jules Callahan。

　　《巴普蒂斯特》是BBC剧集《失踪》的衍生剧，以《失踪》中的朱利安·巴普蒂斯特为主角，通过寻找失踪人口为切入点，抽丝剥茧，揭开背后复杂的真相和阴谋...

　　Bulletproof follows two cops, Bishop and Pike, as they chase down hardened criminals in London's East End. On the surface Bishop and Pike have a lot in common they are cool, smart, unapologetically street-wise and tough they share a deep, fraternal relationship - and are always there for each other. However, they come from very different backgrounds and their personal motivations and emotional lives outside the police force differ as a result: Pike is an aspirational family man, the son of a decorated police officer who's determined to follow in his father's footsteps, but not be in his shadow. Bishop grew up in care homes and on the streets, and never knew his father.
