　　BBC Two announces that shooting has begun on series two of detective comedy Vexed, starring Toby Stephens (Jane Eyre, Robin Hood, Cambridge Spies) who reprises his role as D.I. Jack Armstrong, paired with Miranda Raison (Spooks, Merlin, Married Single Other) who plays newly promoted D.I. Georgina Dixon.
　　Vexed is being filmed in Dublin, Eire, and comprises six 60-minute episodes to air later this year. The series is created by Howard Overman (Misfits) with episodes written by Chris Bucknall, James Wood, Steve Coombes and Harry Jack Williams.
　　Also returning from series one are Roger Griffiths (Holby City, Chef) and Ronny Jhutti (Survivors, Ideal) with Nick Dunning (The Iron Lady, The Tudors) joining to play Georgina’s father.
　　D.I. Jack Armstrong (Stephens) has a new partner in the shape of D.I. Georgina Dixon (Raison). Armstrong is charming, disorganised and prone to laziness so it comes as no surprise that sparks fly when he’s partnered with the ambitious and highly efficient Dixon. Jack’s best friend, café-owner and ex-cop Tony (Griffiths) and colleague Naz (Jhutti) complete the crime solving team. Episode one sees the duo tackle the murder of a cocky car salesman, but things are not quite as they seem.
　　Chris Sussman, Executive Producer for the BBC, says: "We're very much looking forward to the return of Vexed. The second series promises to be just as much fun as the first, and with Miranda Raison joining Toby Stephens as new partner D.I. Dixon, we're hoping it's going to be all guns blazing."
　　Jill Green, Executive Producer, Eleventh Hour Films, adds: “In a recession we need shows that make us laugh, and that’s where Vexed fits in - a perfectly distinctive ‘yin yang’ take on modern day life.”
　　Vexed has been commissioned by Cheryl Taylor, Controller of Comedy Commissioning and Janice Hadlow, Controller of BBC Two.

　　该剧讲述顶级诉讼律师Kate Reed（Sarah Shahi）在工作中长期目睹官僚主义和不公正的判决结果，对律师这个职业产生了强烈反感。她决定改行当法律调解人，专门与律师为敌（当事双方如果同意调解，就没有官司，没有官司就不需要律师）。
　　Kate利用自己丰富的法律知识和女性特有的直觉，再加上天不怕地不怕的性格，成功介入了许多惹人瞩目的矛盾冲突－－既有世界500强企业的大官司，也有因感情问题而闹离婚的小案子。
　　父亲去世后，Kate一直与继母（Virginia Williams）不合，可继母偏偏是她的老板……与此同时，她与在地区检察官办公室当律师的前夫（Michael Trucco）依然藕断丝连－－当不成夫妻不要紧，至少还可以当「床伴」。还好Kate身边有一位好助手（Baron Vaughn），这位文雅的「书生」总是替她把一切都打点好，让她可以安安心心过完每一天。

Paramount+正式预订《笑脸杀手 Happy Face》，改编自同名播客。若预订成剧，则可能在Paramount+上线(CBSAA明年改名)。 　　《傲骨之战》主创金夫妇联手《法官》编剧Jennifer Cacicio共同打造，后者领头该剧编剧室。 　　该播客讲述了M elissa Moore，在15岁时发现自己父亲Keith Hunter Jesperson是一名连环杀手，因为他在给媒体和叫公诉人的信上画笑脸，而被人称作"笑脸杀手"。成年的Moore换了姓氏，切断了和正在服刑的父亲的一切联系。但当他联系上她，宣城自己的受害者还有更多时，她被牵扯进了一场非同寻常的调查，调查她父亲的罪行，这些罪行对受害者家人的影响，以及最终面对自己的身份。 　　Moore曾写过一本关于自己经历的书，叫《Shattered Silence》。

This 7-year series chronicled the adventures of the Impossible Mission Taskforce (IMF), a team of government spies and specialists who were assigned "impossible missions" by the unseen "Secretary". Although the cast varied over the years, the main characters included The Team Leader (Dan Briggs the first season, then Jim Phelps the other six), The Techno-Wizard (Barney Collier), The Strongman (Willy Armitage), The Master of Disguise (first Rollin Hand, then The Amazing Paris), and The Femme Fatale (Cinnamon Carter, Casey, Dana Lambert, Mimi Davis).
　　
　　The series is best known for its opening mission assignment (conducted by a pre-recorded tape), the theme composed by Lalo Schifrin, the leader's selection of mission agents from a dossier, the opening briefing, the intricate use of disguises and a typical "mask pulloff" scene near the end of most episodes, and the relative lack of characterization of the characters.
